About Us

Standing Tall for Wyoming's Working Families Since 1965

For nearly six decades, we've embodied the hopes and aspirations of working people across our great state. We are 5,000+ neighbors, friends, and family members from over 50 labor unions who understand that true independence comes from our collective power to provide for our families through honest work and fair compensation.

Our Mission

We exist to secure improved wages, hours, and working conditions for all Wyoming workers while defending our democratic institutions and fundamental freedoms. We stand for organizing the unorganized into unions of their choosing, ensuring all workers—regardless of race, creed, color, or national origin—share in the full benefits of union organization, and securing legislation that protects workers, farmers, consumers, and all our people.

Our Commitment

From the wind-swept union halls, to the Wyoming Legislature and across job sites from Cheyenne to Cody, we stand united by the Code of the West: hard work deserves fair reward. We pledge ourselves to securing full recognition of the rights we're justly entitled to, achieving higher standards of living and working conditions, and strengthening our democratic way of life.

Whether you're a third-generation coal miner, a healthcare worker in Rock Springs, or a grocery worker in Laramie, your voice matters in our movement. We combine the rugged individualism that defines our state with the unshakable power of standing together.
